Getting Equipment from STLP
(From the STLP Website):
"The UW Student Technology Loan Program (STLP) is a free, student-run program that helps support the academic technology needs of UW Seattle students. Based on your needs, the STLP may be helpful in providing equipment to make ASUW and RSO events more inclusive including but not limited to video cameras, projectors and projector screens, and audio equipment.
STLP loans their equipment on a first-come, first-served basis therefore making a reservation a highly recommended although is not required. If you need equipment the day of, STLP may be able to accommodate your needs to the best of their abilities.
Loan periods are dependent on the equipment type borrowed, but range anywhere from ten days (business days) to a quarter long. Extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis with advance notice of at least 7 business days prior to the equipment due date. To be considered for extension sufficient notice and justification for extension are required.
Be aware that late equipment return may lead to infractions resulting in restrictions from the program for up to one academic year. Equipment not returned within 5 business days of the due date will be reported to UWPD as misappropriated. Additionally, students will be held responsible for loss or damage to equipment while in their possession."

To Book Equipment Reservations
- Go to STLP website
- Login using your UW Net ID Credentials
- Click on the “Reserve” link on the banner towards the top of the screen third from the left.
- Select the day you need your equipment (up to two business days in advance).
- Select where you would like to pick up your equipment.
- Use the filters provided to browse equipment available for reservation.
- Click on the available equipment you would like to reserve to add to cart. List of items will appear on right side of screen under “cart”.
- When you have selected all the equipment you would like to reserve click the “reserve” button.
- A pop will ask you to certify you are a
- UW student currently enrolled in courses at the UW campus and that you have read and agree to all the terms and policies of the STLP.
- You will then receive an email confirming your reservation with instructions on your pickup.
