Director

Thomas Sefair-López (He/Him)

Thomas Sefair-Lopez (he/him) is a junior majoring in Operations/Supply Chain Management and Human Thomas is the Director of the Office of Inclusive Design. He is passionate about making sure that every student on the University of Washington campus can access any event or resource that they are interested in! When Thomas isn’t advocating for inclusivity on the UW campus, he spends his time meeting new people and traveling. Inclusive Event Consultant

Ethan Blanco (he/him)

Ethan Blanco (he/him) is a senior majoring in Public Health-Global Health. Ethan is the Event Consultant of the Office of Inclusive Design. He is passionate about ensuring all UW events are proactive in accessibility and inclusivity measures so everyone can access them. When Ethan isn’t advocating for inclusivity on the UW campus, he spends his time exploring different parts of campus and Seattle, finding new places to eat, and searching for the best/worst movies to watch. Public Policy Intern

Alex Olsen (any pronouns)

Alex Olsen (any pronouns) is a current fourth year double majoring in International Studies and Scandinavian Area Studies with a minor in Norwegian. She is the Public Policy Intern at the Office of Inclusive Design. When not studying at a café, she can be found knitting or petting the many dogs around campus. She is excited about human rights, accessibility, and law.

Community Outreach Intern

Lucy Axtelle (she/her)

Lucy Axtelle (she/her) is a junior majoring in Anthropology and Ethnomusicology. Lucy is the Community Outreach intern for the OID and is passionate about broadening accessible spaces on campus and creating a strong UW disability community. When not doing advocacy work Lucy can be found practicing music, reading a good book, or going on a hike with family or friends in the Olympics.

Event Planning Intern

Kelly Wu (she/her)

Kelly Wu (she/her) is a sophomore majoring in Early Childhood & Family Studies with an intended minor in Law, Societies and Justice. Kelly is the Event Planning Intern for the Office of Inclusive Design. Kelly is passionate about supporting organizations with the resources needed to create an inclusive and accessible environment for all. When Kelly isn’t advocating for inclusivity on the UW campus, she spends her time playing video games, making origami, and hanging out with her dog.
